Cancellation and Liability Policy

 

Registration and Accomodation will be confirmed upon receipt of the registration fees on the bank account.

 

Please take care that your participation fee is transferred without any charges for recipient to the account as given in the registration form for Early Bird registration before 1 October 2015 to guarantee your accommodation. Unfortunately we cannot accept any credit card payments or cash payments upon arrival.

 

Cancellations of registrations need to be done in written form and if made before 1 October 2015 they are subjected to a 50% cancellation fee. No refund will be made for cancellations communicated after that date. Transfer charges will not be refunded at any stage.

 

We regret not to provide any reductions of registration fees, if attendants will not stay over the full duration of the event. The fees for the FIG Com7 AM and the International Workshop are a package fee. 

 

The organisers take no responsibility for any loss or damage as a result of a cancellation/postponement of the Annual Meeting or international Symposium and shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, terrorism, labor strike, extreme weather or other emergency. In case of no show of a participant at the event, based on whatever reason (rejection of immigration, passport problems e.a.) organisers will not refund an costs. The organisers reserve the right to amend the programme or withdraw speakers or other elements of the programme without prior notice, and will accept no liability for any loss or damage caused by amendments to the programme.

 

Participants are responsible to arrange insurances for their individual health service, travel risks e.a. on their own.

 

Excursions and/or programme items as announced, may be changed or cancelled by organisers without creating any right to indemnification or compensation. Social events are subject to minimum numbers participating and the organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel social events without prior notice. Excursions which are subject to an extra booking fee, will be reimbursed in case of cancellation upon low interest.

 

The registration and preparation for both events require to collect delegates’ name, contact details and similar personal information as is necessary to process delegate registrations and provide the necessary services for organising the events. Data will not be forwarded to third parties not involved into organisation.
